Products You Need To Try

How many times have you seen a product that peaks your interest and thought to yourself that eventually you will purchase it BUT not now..? I do that often. But occasionally, I find the right reason to finally throw my money at that said item. Well today I want to share with you the items I finally (figuratively that is) threw my money at. Some of them you probably have heard about and others I hope are new to you.

Let's start with something you have definitely heard of. Hulu Live. When my husband and I moved into our home, we bought a cable package. After a year or so of paying ridiculous amounts to the cable company we finally agreed to try Hulu. Most people I know have switched over to Hulu but there are still some people (like my parents) I am trying to convince otherwise. Hulu has most every channel that my husband and I like to watch. There are roughly 65 channels that come without adding on. I will say the one cable channel I do miss is MTV because unfortunately... I love trash TV (reality shows.) During football season we still get the channels for professional and college games. That was a must have for the both of us. Hulu also offers there own shows that I have fallen in love with. Hulu has add-ons as well so you can see shows on Starz or Cinemax. I also want to add I really love the option to have DVR because it was an extra $10 or $15 with our previous cable company to have. Now the one down fall of using a streaming service is running the risk your internet will not work. You have been forewarned. This rarely happens to us but lagging can occur. All in all I can say that we are both happy with are decision to cancel cable. We save roughly $40 a month from this switch!

You have probably heard about this next item as well and have thought to yourself that you will eventually get one. Well here is your sign. Ring Home Security has become one of my favorite things to have at our house. Currently, we use the spotlight camera rather than the doorbell because we have the camera strategically placed for us to see our whole front yard. Along with the spotlight camera we purchased the Alarm Security Kit. This kit comes with a keypad, 5 door sensors, two motion detectors and a range extender. The total cost was roughly $350 up front. We pay monthly for the Ring Security program that alerts their system when something sets off our alarm. This product has brought me a lot of peace of mind. My husband is a police officer and parks his vehicle in front of our home every night. It's hard not to think about his vehicle getting vandalized or one of others cars for that matter. At any point of the day whether you are down the road, in your home or a state away you can access your cameras. It also detects motion. So say you have a package being dropped off at your doorstep, the camera will pick that motion up and alert you. One of my top three reasons why I love Ring, is because it has this feature called Neighborhood Feed. Anyone can download the Ring app and make an account for this reason. I only discovered this when we got the whole package. In Neighborhood Feed, you can share if someone came up to your doorstep and seemed suspicious, if your bike was stolen (you can attach pictures to these posts), or if your family pet has gone missing. The local news also has access to this feed and alerts when something like a break in occurs. You need to go download the app alone for this feature. It is completely free! One of my other top three reasons for loving Ring is the simplicity of installing the system. The hardest part for us was trying to decide where to put our outdoor camera. When we move, Ring will go with us. I can't wait to try more of their products!

So this next product, took me a lot of trial and error before finding the right one. That is... natural deodorant. I tried at least three different brands before coming to the conclusion that Native was #1. This might take a little bit more convincing on my part to help you see the light but this stuff is a game changer. I sweat a lot. Sweating is normal. Therefore, if you see my sweat stains... I do not care. (LOL) I want to add that I would even have sweat stains using clinical strength deodorant. If you can get past the sweat stains then let me tell you why I love Native. Of all the natural deodorants I have used, their formula is the softest. Some of the other brands I have used have a coarse rough texture that you have to let warm up under your arm before using. They have good smells but it's a little more time consuming and sometimes can cause discomfort when applying. Native is buttery and for me does not cause irritation. Native currently has a coconut based scent that I am OBSESSED with as well. Native deodorant also has a longer shelf life than other natural deodorants I've tried. The one I have currently has lasted me roughly two months if not more. If you are interested in natural deodorant and need some explanations for why it is better, let me share just a couple reasons. Natural deodorant doesn't block your pores (like antiperspirants) allowing the good bacteria to flourish. The good bacteria is actually what helps to diminish the smell of your sweat. Another great reason to switch to a natural deodorant is because antiperspirants are aluminum based therefore leading to clogged pores that enhance dermatological issues on your underarms. Before I switched to a natural deodorant and good razors, I constantly had issues with razor burn or even like a five o' clock shadow in my armpits. If you would like more information about natural deodorants, comment below and I will try my hardest to help with your questions.

All of these products are so great and have brought about a life change to me in some way. I know that sounds corny but in all honesty I mean what I say. I hope you found this interesting and I plan on sharing monthly favorites in the future to speak more on products I am currently loving. If there is something you would like me to try and write about, please share below in the comments!
